Stereo Bluetooth car adapter

Media_httpwwwskechitc_yclgy

With bluetooth stereo working quite well now, I wonder why car stereo manufacturers (and OEM stereo systems) aren't using it to connect and play from an iPhone more. I guess it will start to appear in the coming year. This adapter still requires you to plug in to your stereo, but then you don't have to plug your iPhone in to the car to play music...just get in and it plays! Of course, you could just connect your phone to the stereo with a $2 cable via the same connection, but that's SOOO pre-2010.

Another cool iPhone case - hybrid design

I like that it has a grippy back, volume buttons enhanced, and full edge protection. Nice. Check it out here.

Groovy hybrid case that solves most case needs!

Media_httpwwwswitchea_lcvey

I like the tactile control covers, grippy sides, but hard protection. Nice that it comes with docking adapters, a stand, and 2 screen protectors. A bit pricey, but hey, so are shoes, right? How many shoes do you have?

My favorite iPhone camera app

I'm an app whore. I admit it. I have every possible page of my iPhone filled with apps and I have to delete 2 or 3 daily to make room for more that I want to try. I run them through their paces, keep the good stuff, and dump the trash. I move the best of the best towards the front of my app pages and keep the obscure ones towards the back. One of the apps on the home page is Camera Genius. I use this everyday for snapping photos. Here's what I like about it over the built-in camera app:

1) It's shoots faster and can snap off successive images almost instantaneously. They auto-save in the background.
2) It has options for all kinds of cool features, like Big Button, where you can just tap anywhere on the screen to take the shot.
3) It has self-timer options for self portraits.
4) It has an "anti-shake" feature that senses when the phone is still and snaps with the least amount of hand-movement.
5) Has sound capture that will trigger when it senses a loud noise, like the Clapper!
6) Has a digital zoom.

It has other features too, but I use the above the most. There are other apps that come close, like Snapture, my second favorite, but Snapture doesn't have the "anti-shake" or self-timer features, which I find really useful.

What would make Camera Genius the perfect replacement camera app?
1) Needs to include GPS data when it captures, like the built-in app does.
2) Needs a video recording function.

Laptop and phone skins

Media_httpwww3acpcomimagesindexforbothjpg_ddhgbzzpfweynbm

I have a very cool laptop skin on my MacBook Pro. Every where I go, people ask where I got it, and I tell them: 3acp.com. This site is not the easiest to navigate or use, but it does have a crazy huge selection of skins! Mine was very high quality and easy to apply. I've had it on my laptop for almost a year and it has yet to peel, fade, bubble, or show any signs of wear, actually. They have cool skins for iPhones too. Oh, and I forgot to mention, you can design your own skin, with photos, and upload it and they will print your custom skin!

Griffin Technology: PowerBlock Reserve - AC charger and rechargeable backup battery

Media_httpwwwgriffintechnologycomimagesassetsheaders00003999powerblockreserve1jpg_kehcllfnlnaleul

Now this is cool! I love having my extra backup battery, and this combines a wall charger, backup battery, and backup battery charger all in one! Now if it only had two USB charge ports...

Griffin Technology: Elan Form Etch - Hard-shell Etched Leather Case

Media_httpwwwgriffintechnologycomimagesassetsheaders00004680elanformetch1jpg_thcxiufkefhwfuo

I like leather cases, but most look very bulky. These are pretty cool and I like the way they fit. I sure wish they had a dragon design though!

Griffin Technology: Clarifi - Protective case with built-in close-up lens for iPhone 3G

Media_httpwwwgriffintechnologycomimagesassetsheaders00003559clarifi2jpg_sjrcknhjhbbtaqz

I bought one of these and it was awesome...until I got the new 3Gs iPhone with the autofocus lens. The phone can now focus much closer and I can capture business cards, article text, etc., which I do all the time to keep track of things. So, I don't really need this case anymore. It's great for iPhones prior to the 3Gs though. If you do this too, you might check out the iphone app, Evernote, which uses OCR technology to convert your photos of text into searchable, editable text too.
